Timmy and the Viking Fans LLC Crew

Timmy has an awesome moving truck that he customized to his tailgating needs. This thing kicks in with an awesome display of Ribs and over-the-top paint job with all the ammenities. They even had a plexiglass wall built to keep the heat in during those cold mornings.

Needless to say, Timmy was awarded the Vikings Tailgater of the Year for Great Gate - and better ribs!

Food Dude, Tailgate Guy, Ron Bartender of the Year and Top Chef Brian Malarkey...

John Velek invited me up to join him at a tailgate party in the land of 10,000 lakes and many bars... John, aka Super Vman was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as the Vikings Super Fan - and he is! He hosted me all weekend long and he even made a new tailgating dish - V's Drunken Turducken Chili! Kudos bro, that stuff is FANtastic!

If you've heard the radio show at all, we're always talking with the Food Dude Kevin Roberts. Dude, along with fellow So Cal Boys Ron Steen (Bartender of the Year last 2 years running and YourTailgateParty.com's National Bartending Hero) and Top Chef's Brian Malarkey (who also ownes the Ocean Aire Seafood Room in San Diego) came up for the game and helped me judge a cool little taste-off to find the best Gate in the lot last Sunday. We had such a good time, we continued the party after the game in Vman’s favorite little bar "The Little Wagon." Cool place to have a few before, during and after the game."

We hooked up with our last Blacktop's Best champion’s crew, the Mink's Nest. Unfortunately, Hoss wasn't in town last weekend, but his crew took an honorable second place with a California inspired menu - burritos and enchiladas right off the grill. Their fresh salsa was to die for. Great job boys!

"Minks Nest" RADical Rig has a fully custom wood-worked inside and a SICK paint job. They actually have the current schedule on the side of the Rig - and it's such a nice paint job, you can see the lot's reflection of tailgaters...
