I met these Mt Vernon Firefighters 3 years ago at a Notre Dame tailgate - and we've been great friends ever since! I've been invited on their annual tailgate trip and they always find the time to tailgate with me when I'm in New York. The tailgate is always over the top, and everyone is always welcome in.

When we got set-up, Steve of Camp Chef and Tito and Rob started on breakfast sandwiches: fried egg, sauted onions and peppers, melted cheese all on a A & M Bronx Bakery Deli Roll- always a crowd favorite!

Jets at Giants Stadium...

With all the confusion of construction lingering around Giants Stadium, parking got to be a concern. We were able to find a permit and park in the oversized lot 14A - anyone looking for parking at the Meadowlands should try here first. Plenty of room for the RVs and a great tailgating spot to boot. This lot is home to quit a few old-school tailgate parties and RADical rigs like the Jet Bus 14A Tailgate Crew and the Jet Nuts Bus.

I even ran into Mike Damato, last year's Blacktop Chef for the New York Jets Tailgate Taste-Off. He and his crew were grilling away on their Camp Chef Big Gas Grill from last year. Great to see you guys.

The Jet Bus, which was right next door has a couple cool features: it has 2 mini-helmets on the hood that actually shoot water out the sides - just in case the visiting team fans walk by, it has a full gas range and oven inside converted to propane, and it is an "historic" vehicle with special license plates and all. Of course it's painted all up in Jets colors with logos and signatures and sports an awesome portable bar. What a great crew.

The Tailgating at Jets games is always a ton of fun. I have run into some great crews and FANtastic tailgaters. It's always good to be part of the fastest growing sporting event around.

Melissa and her father John...

...joined Jay this week at the Jets tailgate party. Melissa's dad came up from Florida to visit and watch his Jets play. They hung for some food and drink before heading in to the game. Thanks a bunch for tailgating with us.

Johnny Jet invited us over for a game of "Left, Right, Center." It's a dice game that is just a ton of fun and very exciting. You can get teh game at Spencer's Gifts in any mall. You gotta check it out - Great tailgate game!
