The Windy City - da Tailgate Lot ...
After an entire week in Chi-town, I was just pumped up to be at the Bear's home opener. With a late game start and the weather cooperating, the lots were taking things to a new level.
Timmy had pulled pork going and I grilled up some of my famous Southwest Grilled Hass Avocados while our neighbors were doing kebobs, racl of lamb and shrimp scampi. As you all know, I don't like to eat, so when I had to force myself to try the famous Chicago brats and these stuffed monster burgers from Executive Chef Bob and his cohort Master Chef Kevin. They had one of the largest grills I've seen - Great burgers boys. These things were huge and technically, should be called half a cow!
This awesome tailgate had a disc jockey, all the tvs and satellites you could imagine, great views all around and the most innovative vehicles and tailgate toys.
Bill and Naomi Mumma converted a 20 foot trailer into da Bears Tavern, 25 Bears Fans Inc had a new Tour Bus that was completely customized with tables, tvs and even a kitchen and there were many different bars throughout the lots.

Final call: da Gate on the Lake - FANtastic...
da Bears Tailgating Tavern!

Bill and Naomi Mumma customized a 20 foot trailer into an indoor Tavern complete with bar, stools, bathroom and all the NFL decor you can imagine. It was in the lot on opening day, and Bill promises to post photos as he continues to transform this new Tailgate icon into the best rolling tavern in Chi-town!
Photo of the Week!

Chicago has, by far, one of the best views from the tailgate lot. It was 75 degrees, clear sky and just plain beautiful! And to top it all off, da Bears won their home opener.
