The San Francisco 49ers invited me to judge their Tailgater of the Year contest durig their last home game. I accepted and had one heck of a time in the bay area.

In the end, Club 49 took home the title of San Francisco's Tailgater's of the Year! Congrats guys, and we'll see ya next year...

A Family Affair in the Bay Area...

The whole family joined me for a trek to San Francisco and the 49ers tailgate party - including the newest member of the tailgae family, Manning the Silver Lab! (Christmas came a bit early for Frankie this year.

I tasted some great food, saw some awesome decor but this gate and all the contestants were FANtastic. I happy to report that I had help judging because it would've taken me a few weeks to determine the outcome.

From kebabs to roast pig to chorizo and egg burritos and some very creative drinks as well thanks to Saloon 49, I was full, scratch that, I was bursting with all that awesome food.

Final Call:" I'll be back!" as the California Governator would say.

Thanks Santa...

Frankie was happy to make his last minute Christmas wish at the tailgate party. As you can see - ALL SMILES HERE!
